Hello family! How are you? I haven't been on the computer much this week, I've been super busy touring around the island, but I want to start to set the days I'll be putting a post on the blog. When I was very little my mum and I came to Bali and we were told Lombok is beautiful, so we went. I barely remember anything from those day's because I was very young, so now that I was in Bali and thought it would be so nice to go back to Lombok. We took a plane, we paid 25 Euros each and it took 30 minutes to get there, you also have the option to go by boat, there's two types of boats, the fast one which takes 2 hours, depending on weather conditions, and it's around 40 Euros, go and back, or the public boat, which is 3 Euros and it take's up to 5 hours. We had a look at all the options and thought the plane was the best one. When we arrived in Lombok we took a taxi to Kuta, which is on the south area of the island, we didn't have a hotel reservation so we just went there and stopped at different hotel's to see who offered the best room for the best price. We arrived late afternoon so we just chilled at the pool, had dinner and went to sleep so we could wake up early the next morning. The day after, we rented a car and went over to explore the beaches of the south, on the way there was no traffic, actually, I think I only saw around 4 cars driving around, there's nothing around the area, i'd say it's like Bali 20 years ago, it has a long way to go. We stopped at the most beautiful beach I've ever seen, Selong Belanak. There's only one hotel with a little restaurant on the beach the rest is just nature, palm trees, white sand, no people and nothing built around it. I've always dreamed of paradise and right in that moment I had it in front of my eyes. It was perfect. We were so amazed by this place that we stayed there all day. I think we are so ignorant sometimes and that we only go to the places that are being invaded by tourist, we need to explore more, we need to find more places like this. The Indonesian archipelago has 18.307 islands and most of the tourism is concentrated in Bali, imagine how many unknown beaches like this one exist only in Indonesia, it's crazy, right? Next time I come back I have to explore more islands, I recommend you do too, if you're thinking about coming to Indonesia. Well, now we're back in Bali, our time in this island has nearly finished! Hola familia! Como estais? No he estado muy conectada al ordenador esta semana, he estado ocupada pateándome la isla, pero quiero empezar a organizarme y elegir unos días concretos de la semana en los que poner un post en el blog. Cuando era muy pequeña, vine a Bali con mi madre, nos dijeron que Lombok era precioso y fuimos. Yo no me acuerdo de casi nada porque era una enanita. 12 años después aquí estamos en Bali otra vez, por lo que decidimos volver a Lombok un par de días. Fuimos en avión, nos costo 25 Euros y el vuelo dura 30 minutos. Hay otras maneras de ir, por ejemplo, en barco. Hay dos tipos de barco, el rápido que tarda 2 horas y cuesta 40 euros, ida y vuelta, o el barco publico que cuesta unos 3 euros y tarda unas 5 horas. Vimos todas las opciones posibles y la que mas nos encajo fue la del avión. Cuando llegamos a Lombok, fuimos a Kuta en taxi, que esta en la zona sur de la isla. No teníamos ningún hotel reservado por lo que fuimos parando a preguntar cual ofrecía el mejor precio con la mejor habitación, lo encontramos rápido. Como llegamos por la tarde noche, no hicimos mucho, estuvimos en la piscina, cenamos y nos fuimos a dormir para poder levantarnos temprano al día siguiente. Por la mañana, alquilamos un coche para ir libremente a explorar las playas del sur, de camino no nos encontramos con nada de trafico, es mas, creo que solo vimos 4 coches en la carretera. La zona es muy virgen, yo diría que es como Bali hace 20 años, Lombok todavía tiene mucho que avanzar. Paramos en una de las playas mas bonitas que he visto en mis 20 años de vida, Selong Belanak. Solo hay un hotel con un pequeño restaurante en la playa, todo lo demás es naturaleza. Siempre he soñado con como seria el paraíso, y justo en ese momento lo tenia delante de mis ojos, no me lo imaginaba de ninguna otra manera. Nos enamoramos tanto de esta playa que nos quedamos ahi todo el dia. A veces pienso que somos tan ignorantes porque siempre vamos a los sitios que están plagados de turistas, necesitamos explorar mas y encontrar mas sitios como este. El archipiélago de indonesia tiene 18.307 islas, sin embargo la mayor parte del turismo se centra en una sola, Bali. Os podéis imaginar la cantidad de playas paradisiacas y desconocidas que existen solo en Indonesia, es una locura, no? Cuando vuelva tengo que explorar mas islas y espero que cuando vengáis a este país tan bonito lo hagáis vosotros también. Bueno, ya estamos en Bali otra vez, nuestra estancia en esta isla ya esta llegando a su fin.. Espero que tengáis un buen fin de semana y que seáis muy muy muy felices!
